WHERE WE COME FROM

A Farm Family That Learned By Doing

We didn't come to agriculture from the outside looking in — we grew up in the middle of it. Raised on a small family farm with deep roots in the cotton industry, crop production was a way of life from day one. Between our own fields and our involvement in the cotton gin business, we learned early on that cotton is one of the most demanding crops there is, requiring anywhere from 10 to 14 spray applications in a single season.

That kind of schedule gave us a real education in agricultural chemistry — not just the products, but the timing, the conditions, the judgment calls that go into making a proper spray application. It's the kind of knowledge you can only get from years of standing in the field and figuring things out.

Alongside all of that spraying, we spent years tackling fabrication projects on the farm — designing, building, and redesigning equipment to better fit our own needs. There was no blueprint for a lot of it; we just saw a problem and figured out how to solve it with our own two hands. That hands-on ingenuity stuck with us, grew into a genuine skill set, and eventually became something we wanted to share with others.

WHO WE ARE TODAY

Two Businesses, One Family, One Mission

Today, Leading Edge Platforms operates two sides of the same coin: a custom aerial application business and a custom fabrication business — both run by our family, for our customers.

100%

Family Owned & Operated

On the aerial application side, we bring the same discipline and attention to detail we learned growing up — knowing the chemistry, respecting the crop, and making every pass count. On the fabrication side, we do what we've always done: look at a real-world problem our customers face, and build something that actually solves it.

We genuinely love what we do. There's a lot of satisfaction in handing a customer something we built from scratch and watching it make their workday easier, safer, and more efficient.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT

Family at the Core

Leading Edge Platforms is family-run in every sense of the word. Day-to-day operations are led by us — husband, wife, and our two kids along for the ride. Our parents pitch in whenever and however they can, just like they always have.

🌾

Three Generations of Getting It Done

From the cotton fields our parents worked to the drone operations and fabrication shop we run today, this business is built on a foundation of family, hard work, and the belief that doing things right the first time is always worth it.

We're not a corporation. We're your neighbors, and when you work with us, you're working directly with the people who take pride in every product we build and every acre we spray.

OUR STANDARD

What We Build, We Stand Behind

At Leading Edge Platforms, we hold ourselves to a simple standard: whatever we put our name on should be the safest, most efficient, most comfortable, and most easily maneuverable option available. We're not interested in cutting corners — we're interested in building something we're genuinely proud of.

Whether it's a custom fabrication project designed around your specific workflow or an aerial application job that calls for precision and care, we approach every job the same way: figure out what the customer actually needs, and deliver something better than they expected.

We believe the best solutions come from people who have worked the land, understand the equipment, and have had to solve real problems with limited resources. That's exactly the kind of experience we bring to every project.

Let's Work Together

We're looking forward to serving our customers for many years to come. If you've got a project in mind or want to learn more about what we do, we'd love to hear from you.
